If you'd like an invite please PM your address and I'll add you to the G+ tester group so you can access the app in the play store or join yourself. I still have a few more things I want to add but I think it works well now and I'm looking for some alpha testers. I also saw a couple of app requests on a subreddit that matched what I was doing here and here. I explained my way of thinking to someone my thoughts on things right as I was starting and I think it resonated. That stuff just over complicated things for me. Basically, focus on time (specifically right now, this next hour for example) rather than a bunch of lists, categories, tags, future future planning, etc. The first thing I wanted to make was a todo app that approached things in my own way which is a bit different from what's out there already. Are these tasks that need to be done by me specifically? Are these tasks I can ask other people to do? Are they important and urgent for someone else? Does that change their importance for me? Maybe they need to be re-classified, or perhaps they are things I can ask someone else to do and remove them from my list.About a month ago I started learning Android development (long time web developer). When I look at these, I ask myself some questions. This is because people spend a lot of time on things that are important because they are urgent, not because they are actually important. Notice that "Urgent/Not Important" is third, not second. "Not Urgent/Important" comes next (Priority 2), then "Urgent/Not Important" (Priority 3), and finally "Not Urgent/Not Important" (Priority 4 or no priority at all). "Urgent/Important" is the highest priority (i.e., Priority 1) and needs to be done first. Neither to do list nor todo list is correct, so you should avoid them. You should only write it when to-do is hyphenated because this allows us to use it as a compound adjective ( which in turn modifies list). Now we can translate the boxes into priorities. To-do list is the only correct variation. Is it something that needs to be done today or tomorrow? Then it is probably "Urgent." Does it have a deadline that is approaching, but there are days/weeks/months until that time, or perhaps it doesn't have a deadline at all? Certainly "Not Urgent."
